What is Unauthorized Fun?

Have you ever been told you can’t do something because “it’s just not done that way”? Have you ever been told something you really like is garbage? Would you like to just indulge in a chunk of fun entertainment without the bloggers claiming “people like you” are contributing to the downfall of civilization for deigning to enjoy a piece of fiction?! Seriously! How many pop-culture articles with headlines that start “Why You Shouldn’t…” do we have to endure before we tell those authors where to stick it?

We call these people the Fun Police, and the Fun Police of the world want you to live by 3 rules:

  1. Only established brands are worthy
  2. Kids don’t comprehend complex stories
  3. Entertainment has to abide by the social and/or political preferences of the Fun Police

First of all, what they don’t seem to realize is that we all played with toys that weren’t based on one of our grandparent’s stale old comics and we loved it. Not only that, but the established brands come with huge licensing fees, royalties, and other commitments that bloat the cost of the final product.

Second, as kids, we understood how Biff created an alternate 1985 while our parents just sat in the theater confused. Kids are smarter than the marketing schmucks can ever understand.

And to rule number 3, good art should have a message, but there’s a fine line between that and a totalitarian demand to propagandize kids. If you want sterilized, cookie-cutter entertainment, Panda Mony probably isn’t for you. We only deliver nuanced, sophisticated, original entertainment made for kids.

Unauthorized Fun is a rejection of the status quo that is killing creativity and instead embraces the platforms and methods that cultivate it. Panda Mony harnesses this creativity into high-quality kids entertainment.

I know, I know, that sounds scary! If we don’t used established brands, people can literally create anything! It’s anarchy!

But there’s no reason to fear. Your pioneering ancestors, way back in 1970s, 80’s and 90’s, laid the framework for this in the hopes that one day, their great great grandchildren would realize the dream of once again enjoying quality, original Intellectual Property. Finally, they can rest knowing that Panda Mony is rejuvenating original entertainment… Wait, is it an oxymoron? To rejuvenate something original? I digress. We invite you to join Panda Mony Toy Brands in our mission to battle the Fun Police and their stoopit rules!

Fun has no rules!
